John Calambokidis

John Calambokidis is a senior research biologist at Cascadia Research Collective, a non-profit he founded in 1979 that is based in Olympia, Washington. Since the 1980s he has studied large whales in the eastern North Pacific mostly working from small inflatable boats out of almost every harbor and boat launch along the US West Coast. He has co-authored several hundred publications over the years.
