Whale Watching

Orange County Whale Watching Operators

In addition to research grants and speaker meetings, ACS-Orange County maintains an active whale watch naturalist/docent program. Certified ACS-OC Naturalists volunteer to educate the public on whale watch boats, at schools, and through participation in public events such as the Dana Point Festival of Whales.

ACS-OC is nonprofit, all-volunteer and not affiliated with any business, but we work with all of the operators shown below to fulfill our Public Education mission.  We have positive, productive relationships with all of them, based on our common desire for people to get out on the water, see whales, learn about them and fall in love with them.  We recommend that our members and other friends check them out and decide which one best fits their needs.  We do not endorse any one over the others.

Whale Watch trips run every day out of Newport Beach and Dana Point.
